Seems to me I've seen that somewhere.

I've got my list up at A Reader's Respite, Wendi!Michelehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04873109350235219509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8751560065520970068.post-11581700652983069072008-10-30T22:25:00.000-07:002008-10-30T22:25:00.000-07:00LOL - oh I had forgotten the breathless . . . thro...LOL - oh I had forgotten the breathless . . . throughout the Cartland books!! Yes - I used to laugh about that too - that and roll my eyes - but some of those books were so FUN! For some reason, The Pretty Horse Breakers comes to mind (might be a little different than that, but . . . )

Yep - I like to think I've matured a bit since the regency age, but every now and then it is fun to go back! Another favorite is Sylvester by Georgette Heyer!

:) Looking forward to reading your list - make sure you send me your link!

WendiWendihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08354458791978964560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8751560065520970068.post-88385616689203386682008-10-30T21:25:00.000-07:002008-10-30T21:25:00.000-07:00This is so fun!! I'm glad you're continuing as a "book edition".

I read all those Regency authors in high school, too. My sisters and I used to laugh that we didn't think Barbara Cartland could write a page without a bunch off ellipses... only we call them dot-dot-dots! The heroines seemed to just gasp their ways through the entire story!

I'll have to look for the Regency book you mentioned! (I'm not much into Regency these days. I like to think my reading tastes have matured. But I do re-visit books I read years ago from time-to-time.)Karla Cook @ Roads to Everywherehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00902429832411315003noreply@blogger.com
