I am SO excited! I emailed my contact at Hachette books, to let them know how much I loved Kushiel's Mercy, and asked them if it would be possible to host a giveaway for the book. Not only did they say YES, but they are allowing me to host a giveaway for all three books of the Imriel trilogy: KUSHIEL'S SCION, KUSHIEL'S JUSTICE and KUSHIEL'S MERCY!!!
What a treat!!

2. Leave a comment on my review (1 entry)

Okay, I'm back for another entry...I read chapter one and am not sure where you want us to post regarding our favorite part.....
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the whole chapter yet what I found I enjoyed the most after reading was "his" (narr.) ho-hum tone or mannerism of telling us about his past....sucked me right in!
Thanks

Hi Wendi,
ReplyDeleteI came over to your blog to see your Tuesday Teaser and ended up finding your contest! I keep seeing this series everywhere. I've even picked it up in the bookstore a few times. It's been ages since I've read any type of fantasy. I'd love to have a chance to win.
I read the first chapter of Kushiel's Mercy...I like the old-fashioned sounding words, like betimes.

Just dropped by to enter. I left a comment on your review and I linked to the giveaway on my blog (not the OpenID one).
ReplyDeleteI also read the first chapter on Jacqueline's site. My favourite part is actually this quote because it's poetic (sounds like a song too):
"I have been wed and widowed. I have become a father, almost. And I have fallen in love, which is somewhat altogether different."
My e-mail is booklorn @ gmail.com
Just stopping back in to say that I've posted about your contest on my blog. :)
ReplyDelete(I'm listed up above as xicanti; for some reason, Blogger won't let me use my OpenID these days. Huh).
What a fun contest, please enter me
