Well, first for a change. My resolutions involving weight loss usually last about 2 weeks, then I'm back to my old habits. I definitely need help with that, getting into shape and getting organized. Thanks for the contest.
having children helped me set goals and prioties
I need help making changes because I have a hard time to stick to them

I don't usually make New Year's resolutions but I try to set goals and work towards them. I do have problems with organization that I need to work on! Thanks for this giveaway! sierramuse8 at aol.
My resolution for this year is to finally get my apartment cleaned and organized and keep it that way.
I always tell my kids, you may not be able to do some things, but you can always try! That is a philosophy that I always try to remember.
Thanks for the contest!

My resolutions are losing weight, saving money, being a better wife and mother. Improve just about everything in other words!
I could use a tool to help achieve my goals this year. Sounds like a good book.

my goal this year was to re-enroll in school to finish my high school. I really want to have graduated before my daughter is old enough to start school herself.
still staying on track with the weight and exercise--lost 40 pounds last year...keeping healthy !
I am a subscriber.
I lost 25 pounds last year and would like to lose 20 more. I also need help sticking to that and other goals.

my resolution to exercise more is going great this year
My most life changing resolution ever is to live in gratitude! I have kept a gratitude journal for many years now and I have found it to be the most life changing tool ever! :-)
I've actually spent the last few months working on incremental life changes to move me closer to the life of my dreams. We're so acclimated to the "Go big or go home" philosophy that we don't understand why those big gestures don't have lasting effects. I think it's in the little things rather than the big things. The consistent getting up 20 minutes early to work out and lose 4 or 5 pounds a month rather than the work out for 8 hours a day and lose 50 lbs a month "Biggest Loser" style. Don't get me wrong, I love that show, but it's also proven to me that unless I were to have Bob or Jillian move in with me and kick my butt and make sure I was eating every little thing right, it's not realistic. I celebrate every little win along the way, the 20 minute morning workout, even if it's just dancing to some of my favorite tunes to wake up in the morning, the one more call made to try and garner a new client, the one skipped soda or dessert. The little things will eventually add up to some BIG changes just like the little BAD things added up to being fat, broke and struggling. We have the lives we create.
Realizing what is important to me has helped me life life to the fullest!

Sounds like a great book.
As I was among those laid off late last year, obviously my resolution is to do whatever it takes to get another job. Each day I try to set a goal of what I need to get done that day - update resume, check online job sites, do some online training...
Also each weekday I check in with a friend who is also job-hunting, to see how she's doing with her search and to let her know what's going on with mine.
I stopped making resolutions, but intend to end this year healthier than last year (exercise more, eat fewer sweets, etc.)
I am an e-mail subscriber.
To be at church every Sunday it is important to worship God and this country is going downhill really fast so I am trying to get as many people in church as I can. God Bless
Honestly, I don't make New Years Resolutions really, but something that has constantly changed my life over my 45 years is prayer.
I don't believe in organized religion, but I do believe in a persons own relationship with God being all God requires.
God has come to me twice in my lifetime (no I'm not a froot loop)the love I have for Him is beyond description.
I do try to stay as positive as possible though and remind myself of that quite often.
Thanks

This year, I started a daily journal (again). Had kept a journal in the past, and found that it helped me stay committed to my goals. We are almost to February and I am STILL exercising, making time for myself each day, taking walks and stopping to smell the roses.
I really want to get motivated to change my life.
sounds interesting thanks
My resolutions are losing weight and saving money
my resolution is to have a better, more positive outlook on life
To get more exercise.
By the encouragement of my family I have been able to stick to my goals.
To try to enjoy my family as much as possible, to mend old fences where possible. I have started this now and appologized to one sister for things I may have said to her. Its her decision now to accept or not.
I have made some changes for this year to become more healthy. I have quit smoking and will start exercising more often. Thanks for the contest:)
I try not to use the term "resolutions" and instead think in terms of "goals." That way, if I slip up, I don't feel that I have blown the whole thing - it's just a stumble on the journey. I'd love to win this book, it sounds so helpful and inspiring! Thank you for the chance!

I don't make resolutions. I try to make incremental changes, so it isn't such a big shock!
I always love a good challenge. I love feeling the need to be inspired to meet my challenges. Thanks for the giveaway. I just love when others try to help others with their ideas to help them to succeed.
I retired in June and feel like my life has not gone as well as I hoped - I guess hoping doesn't work as well as planning and doing!
Well I wish I could tell you what has helped me change my life but I can't because I have been stuck in an unproductive decade now, so I need this book badly. As far as resolutions go I am hoping to lose about 30lbs befor my 50th b'day this Oct. Wish me luck. Thanks for a great giveaway!
my reulution is not to have a resulution. in life I am giving moments moments of happiness moments of sadness. I have learned to live for today. I would only need help to organize my endless shoes
lynnbeaniethethird@yahoo.ca
My biggest "change your life" challange is organization. I must take an extra 30 minutes a day looking for things I just know I "put somewhere in this pile."
Resolutions are really difficult for me to keep. I do need to lose weight and get organized, but I also face dealing with Rheumatoid Arthritis, so it makes it harder to do the things I want to do.
I always have to just get up every morning and do my best....and no matter how many times I fall off the horse, I just get back up on it again.
I am hoping this book will help me with more motivation and keep me going even when I don't feel like it.
Thanks for the giveaway.
I would love to win this book. My resolution was to be kinder to other people and this book just might help! Thank you for the chance. Tiffanys819 at gmail dot com
I've decided to make some changes in my life and I think this book is the book that will make the changes possible for me. Thanks for the giveaway.

Lose weight - same goal, different year :(
ktgonyea at gmail.com
I try to set small goals for myself instead of resolutions. I find that this is less overwhelming and I have better results.
Thanks for a great giveaway!
I already completed on of my goal....to quit smoking...almost one year ago.
My goal last year was to read 50 books in a year. This was a great goal because I've realized how much fun it is to actually keep track of the books I've read.
I feel I need to change my whole life, and I could really use some help. I am going back to work after maternity leave in a month, and I want to organize my life, so I live every day to the fulllest!
I think I will eat healthier and get fitter this year. I'm already getting greener every day. Please enter me, thank you
I'm trying to loose more weight this year then last year and keep it off, I've lost over 50 pounds last year, but gained some of it back with problems at home. I'd like to get better oginized, enought to find time, between jobs, home and everything else to do this. I'd love to win this contests, so that I'll maybe have the time to do it.
Remember, you make your own breaks. You can create opportunity. Always resolve to be the best you can, and expect that you won't always be perfect. It makes it that much easier to succeed. You don't always have to be so hard on yourself.
well I just lost my job & I'm having low self esteem right now but I have faith that I will find another one
I am trying to get my paperwork organized. I figure it will take months so I do a little at a time and after a month I'm still working on it. Over the years I lost my sister to cancer, had it 3 times myself, had my son go to war 3 times and had various other problems. They make you realize what and who is important in your life. It came down to my husband, my children and my grandchildren.rosans4@comcast.net
Nothing has helped me change or get organized. I would like to "Build the life I want". The book sounds good.

I have a tendency to set too many goals at one time, then struggling to keep any of them going. I want to get organized, lose weight, be more environmentally friendly, and do more to help others. I do a little of each, but never fully succeed with any of them.
What has helped me to change my life over the past five years is accepting that these are the cards i've been dealt but it's up to me on how to play them. Life isn't fair and we are all born into an unfair and unjust world. Deal with it and make it a better place.
Nothing has worked so far I am hoping to win the book and help make things happen in a good way still staying postitive just need a little self help..
Stopping smoking, drinking and keeping a journal have been perpetually helpful.
getting older has helped me to relax more con5459(at)gmail(dot)com
I became ill 5 years ago on my 40th birthday.
This forced me to face my own morality.
You think you will not have problems until your old but life happens.
I quit drinking, partying & living a harmful life.
I became a born again christian & pray for good health everyday.
Now I just need to get a hold on my obession with food & losing some weight.
I went from life of the party to being a hermit........yet I feel more whole & have a higher self-worth now more than ever.
The only other change I would like-is to become more giving & helping others.
This is sometimes hard-when just leaving my house is like climbing a mountain.
I will get into shape!!
I need to become more social--I am turning into a hermit.
I need to continue to lose weight. So far I have gone from 255 to 198. I still have about 20 more pounds to lose.
PLEASE COUNT ME IN ON THIS AWESOME GIVEAWAY :)
my goal is 2 loose wt and im not doing so well with that.ty 4 the entry:)
I'd love this. Last year, I began rewarding myself for accomplishing portions of my goals. Maybe this will help even more! Thanks for the giveaway.
I haven't had too much luck with the changes I wanted to make. I can't make time for myself.
I think my resolutions need work because I can never seem to keep them.

Actually, we stayed home on New Years Eve, and I was in the mood to start sorting through holiday catalogs and magazines, getting rid of what wasn't needed any longer. Good start! I also plan on finally organizing my house, re-doing my laundry room with fresh paint because I need a new washer and dryer, and finally I must face the emotional task of going to the storage facility where my late parent's belongings are (57 years worth), sorting through all of it and deciding finally what to do with everything. I lost both of them in the last 5 years, and have been emotionally spent, and am just coming out of it and deciding to live my life in a state of happiness that they would want me to.
