Review: Demons Are A Girl's Best Friend by Linda Wisdom

Demons Are a Girl's Best FriendI thoroughly loved this book! Linda Wisdom created a fun paranormal world within our own, full of colorful characters, flirty banter, edgy adventure, and a dreamy demon, all tempered by the possibility of a cataclysmic world-altering dark event. Demons Are A Girl's Best Friend is the perfect adventure for anyone looking for a little romantic fun.

Maggie makes a great and very entertaining witch, with a 700 year history behind her, and Declon is a smouldering love-interest who just so happens to actually smoulder on occasion... since he's another colorful character!

One of the things that made this book so special and fun were the supporting characters (which I would love to see back in sequels!!).  They each were so individual and colorful in their own ways, but worked together to create a whole team.  Among my favorites: Elle (Short for Elegance), the jewel encrusted Black Widow spider who becomes a weapon/tattoo on Maggie's shoulder, and Sybil, the purple elf who specializes in interrogation with her soothing abilities (who doesn't just love the scents of lavender and vanilla that just happen to flow from her wings??).  And gosh, you can't forget the message-toting, caffine-drinking ferret messengers, and the gnomes... honestly, you've got to read this one simply because the paranormal world Linda Wisdom has created was so fun to watch unfold among the pages of the book!
