My 2 “Teaser” Sentences for today:
This is taken from page 168, under the "DASTARD'S TRICKS" section: (yes, I know . . . but I HAD to include more than two sentences - this book is full of great information!)
Lift three matches
Put three matches on the table and bet your friend that you can lift all three with a fourth. To do so, assemble the matches into a tripod formation, with the flammable tips touching, as shown. Use the fourth match to ignite the tripod from below, blow all the matches out, and lift eh three fused matches with the fourth one.
~ p. 168, “The Man's Book" by Thomas Fink
From Amazon:
Being modern and manly in today's world isn't always easy.
Do you know how to tie a bow-tie, mix a martini, or make a potato gun?
Do you know when to get married and how to break up, or the difference between a bock beer and a bitter?
Do you know which urinal to choose or how to start a fire with a Coke can?
The answers to every man's burning questions are within these pages, from the morning wet shave to the whiskey night-cap, from hunting deer with a .30-06 to wooing women like 007. At a time when the sexes are muddled and masculinity is marginalized, THE MAN'S BOOK unabashedly celebrates maleness. Organized by subject in a man-logical way, it's the go-to guide for anyone with a Y chromosome.

Tuesdays: Teasers/Whereabouts
Good one! What made you pick up this book? Here are my teasers: (1) and (2)
That's an interesting one!
Wow, that's very tricky! No wonder it's call the Man's Book. Nice teasers.
That sounds like a great book to give my fiance'. He likes to read non-committal books as I call them (non-story books, can read in any order) and this would be up his alley.
This is a fun little book! I shouldn't say "little" ... the font is so small there's a lot of info packed in it.
