Welcome to another week of Tuesday Thingers! We always love to hear from regular participants as well as new people.
It's been a long and tiring few weeks, and I'm completely lost in my email right now (I think someone sent a suggestion, and I'm WAY behind in email, so it got temporarily lost...) So, this week I found a new-to-me page on Library Thing and thought you might not have seen it either.
This week we are looking at Buzz! That's right! Library Thing has a page to share what people are saying about Library Thing. The best part? They have areas for quotes from sites (including Wendi's Book Corner and a few others I'll bet you'll recognize), What Librarians are Saying, Prizes and Awards, Should It Be Illegal?, quotes from mainstream media, and even Tweets! So, take a peek and see what people are saying. :)
Questions: Were you aware that Library Thing had a Buzz page? Were you surprised by anything you saw or read on the Buzz page?
My Answer: I was clicking around some of the links on LT tonight in an attempt to find a new Thinger topic, and ran across the Buzz page. Until then, I had no idea they were tracking what people are saying. I think it is great, and had fun reading some of the comments.
I was very surprised to see two quotes from some of our Thingers from Wendi's Book Corner featured on the Buzz page (one is near the bottom, and the other is at the very bottom, but still there!). The first was a quote about the CueCat, and for the second one, I must thank Caite again, because it was for a topic she suggested about the Tweets on the author pages.
It was also fun to see a few other blogs I recognize listed on there. :)
Looking forward to reading everyone's answers!!
