Mailbox Monday

Many thanks to Marcia at The Printed Page for hosting Mailbox Monday every week!

It is so much fun to see what everyone is getting in the mail.

Thanks for taking the time to visit ~ I just love hearing from you! Please let me know if you have read any of these books - I'd love to hear how you liked them!! :)

Here are the books that came into my house last week:

I'd also like to say special thanks to Cathy of Kittling Books who inspired me to get rid of more books than I received last week! I sent out 42 books to new homes, and received 18 - Yikes! Yes - 18 . . . keep in mind that 13 of the 18 are for special upcoming projects! :)

From Gryphon House Books, which is a wonderful publisher of early childhood books:

The Encyclopedia of Infant and Toddler Activities edited by Kathy Charner, Maureen Murphy and Charlie Clark

First Art by MaryAnn F. Kohl with Renee Ramsey and Dana Bowman

Games to Play with Babies by Jackie Silberg

Games to Play with Two Year Olds by Jackie Silberg

Games to Play with Toddlers by Jackie Silberg

From Meadowbrook Press, another wonderful publisher with a wonderful selection of books pertaining to early childhood development (along with many other subjects like parenting, humor, etc):

Baby Bites by Bridget Swinney

Healthy Food for Healthy Kids by Bridget Swinney

The Siblings' Busy Book by Trish Kuffner

The Toddler's Busy Book by Trish Kiffner

For my other books:

A Homemade Life by Molly Wizenberg - Non-Fiction / Memoir - Cold request - She actually lives here in Washington!!

The Only True Genius in the Family by Jennie Nash - Fiction - Shelf Awareness Contest

Santa Olivia ARC by Jacqueline Carey - Fiction / Fantasy - Many thanks to the publisher who sent me a review copy!

Summer on Blossom Street ARC by Debbie Macomber - Fiction - Shelf Awareness

The Twilight Saga Collection Box Set by Stephanie Meyer - Yes!! All four of the currently published books in one beautiful set! If you loved the movie, you will love the books even more!! :)

What to do on the Worst Day of Your Life by Brian Zahnd - Non-Fiction / Christian / Part of a WildCard Tour

What was in your mailbox last week??

Wow! You had quite a week! I was hoping to get The Only True Genius... but haven't yet and I love Debbie Macomber. I did read the Twilight series and liked it. I didn't love it but I probably would have if I was a teenager. I didn't get many last week but they look like fun. My list is here. Hope you have a great week!

Great week you had :)
My first ever mailbox Monday so I am looking at blogs :)

Did read Twilight, and the 1st book was cute, the last one ok. Can't call her a great author but they are fun to read.

Wow! Excellent week! I have the first three Twilight books, but haven't read them yet. I didn't even see the movie yet. They do look wonderful, though.

Thanks so much for recommending my book, First Art. If someone wants to see sample pages from the book, go to my website, and then to "Free Activities".
I have sample pages from all of the books I have written so people can try them out.

I love your blog! Good job!

MaryAnn Kohl
PS I have a new book you might like...in FULL COLOR!!!...called "Great American Artists for Kids".

What a fantastic haul of books!! Enjoy reading them.

I have only read the first book in the Twilight series - but enjoyed it very much. I need to get the other books.

I haven't tried Debbie Macomber yet - but I do have a bunch of her books in my TBR pile.

I am so jealous of the fact that you got 18 books sent to you in just one week!

Mind you I don't envy you having to package up another 42 and as for the postage costs ... well that must have cost you an absolute fortune to send all those out.

I just saw that you said you hadn't read any of Tess Gerritsen's books yet - I can only recommend them!!!

Thank you for stopping by the mailbox this week. You had a great book week. Enjoy! 'Palace Circle' is yours and should be there in a week or two.

Boy, you sure gave a lot away. Now you have room for more books. ;P I probably should start finding homes for some of my books, but I have a hard time parting with them.

You had a busy week book-wise, lots of variety. Happy reading!
