I love the Hamilton Beach Kettle I inherited from my Mom! Over the holidays I had a really bad sinus infection, and after ending up in Urgent Care twice and going through two rounds of antibiotics. My Mom brought this handy electric kettle over to make me some tea, and she ended up giving it to me. I think one of the best things I did was drink hot water and tea all day. And the best part? I'm still drinking lots of hot water every day (instead of pop!! Yeah!!). And you know what? I've discovered other great uses for it as well. I've used it for hot water and tea (obviously), for sanitizing dirty plastic toys, for hot water when cleaning out the sink pipes, and for cleaning sticker residue off glass bottles (for craft projects) and picture frames.
I've also heard that you can use it to make coffee (although I don't want to get the coffee flavor in the kettle), and use it for instant oatmeal and soups.
